Friday Night Leftovers

Danifred over at Sippy Cups Are Not For Starbucks has this brilliant way of wrapping up the week with Friday night leftovers. I found it sort of vicariously through Rebecca from
http://lettersfromcrazyville.blogspot.com/ and Ellemes over at 365 of 30. After reading theres and deciding it was ok to venture into the unknown I decided to wrap up my week this way as well.

1) After numerous discussions about why my husband would never convert to being Roman Catholic, all of which I understood and never pressed the issue (not once!), he announced to me and our priest that he is thinking about it a few weeks ago. Last night he and I went to Euchiristic Adoration, and I found a new name for him. he is now a C.I.T (Catholic in Training). He says it was because he had to get back to church and I guess this fits for him. Secretly.. it thrills me. But don't tell him I said so.

2) I wait all week for Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. Last night? Yep, I was sound asleep (only I doubt it was sound.. I am pretty sure I snored) on the couch. Woke up pale and with a fever.. lovely. Only I get sick right before the weekend.. Fab. Guess its good that I had nothing planned.

3) My 12 year old is trying to drive me crazy. She is in this stage where she is all drama, screams all the time and has no control over her emotions. When I look at her sister I wonder if we went through this with her? And than I look at Emily and think "Oh God if we did are you next" Pray for me. alot ok?

4) I have decided to stop surrounding myself with people who are rude. For whatever reason I seem to be a giant punching bag and I am tired of it. While one of the people who did this recently did apologize (Sort of) I am taking it with a grain of salt because I know its bound to happen again.

5) Baseball returned my life this week, I am a HUGE Mets fan (we don't discuss last season, if you are a Yankees fan... I don't wanna hear it.. sighs) This year they have been shown during two games already on MLB Network and it has been so nice to see spring come back. For awhile there I thought the US as a whole ticked Mother nature off and she canceled it.

6) So I want to see Alice in Wonderland but I am waiting til the crowds die down ( I figure Easter), I have not read any reviews yet but have heard from a few friends who saw it last night that it is wonderful so here is hoping!

7)I am a whimp. I walk 1.5 miles every two days and I have decided that I can't do a 5K when I know (ok I am pretty sure) I can.. what on earth is wrong with me? Ugh. Am I the only one who does this? I have been dieting on WW for over 2 months, I have lost 46 lbs (before anyone says anything I had a BIG number to start with.. it happens!) I work out daily and I am a chicken. Yep, bok bok. Thats me.

Ok so how did I do? Did I get them in? Is there any you want to share? Sure there is! who doesn't have leftovers. Go visit Danifred over here at Sippy Cups Are Not For Starbucks

Do the marathon! DO IT! I will be here cheering you on!

When people are rude, I usually am rude right back just because it kinda cracks me up!

Go Marathon! That'd be awesome!

And I would like to stop being around rude people too, unfortunately I think I'd have to quit my job to do it.

I am so excited you decided to join us for Leftovers this week! Horray!

I definitely think you should do the marathon. The blogosphere will totally be cheering you on. You can do it!!!

I'd love to rid myself of rude people, but, like Ellemes, I'd have to quit my job.... not that that would be a bad thing :)

I kinda want to do a 5K, but I can't get motivated. I don't think I can do it either. I am totally out of shape.

That's cool that your hubs is converting. I can't even get mine to switch from Baptist to Methodist.

You did great !
Good for you for not wanting to keep rude people in your life.
Congrats on the 46 lbs "even" if you started with a big number. 46 is still 46.
