Who am I?

The question was posted on a friends blog, that really out there we have no idea who we are reading, or who is on the other end of the keyboard. For all you know I could be a 50 year old man who just enjoys talking about make believe kids. I could be.. but I am not.

I am a 38 year old mother of seven, six on Earth one in Heaven

I am a Navy wife, and an Army brat

I am a Roman Catholic (in case of emergency.. call a priest),

I am a daughter,

I am a daddy's girl,

I am a mommy's girl

I am a sister to four brothers (3 alive, 1 who passed away in 1997 to AIDS),

I am a (ok some of my friends don't know this one yet.. so hold on to your hat) grandmother (technically--my now 18 year old at 15 gave birth to a little boy who she gave up for adoption to my brother and sister in law (she was not ready for a baby and they were ready to be parents)

I am an Aunt (not just to Caleb (thats his name) but to many nephews and a neice),

I am a believer in equal rights,

I believe that we live in a great country,

I am not a crunchy Mama,

but I am a mother that will DARE you to mess with her babies,

I am a chicken (I come off as brave.. its a farce),

I am a victim of adultery (the ex not my sweet husband),

I am your best friend

but

I can be your biggest nightmare if you hurt me

I am a baseball fanatic

I am a New Yorker by birth

a Virginian by length of stay

and a Military brat by proof of passport.

I am a dieter but I know I could be a food addict in a second if the desire hit

I am paranoid but proud

I am strong but weak

I am me.

So, while you may be able to say you don't know some bloggers, you now know some stuff about me. If I missed something, ask. I am not shy, did I mention that if not.. well, I just did.
